A.P. Webb Plant Hire Ltd Have recently taken delivery of another FASSI F365A.2.24 and Cheesewedge plant body, both supplied and fitted by The Crane Centre.

Fitted on a Scania 8×2 rigid, supplied by West Pennine Trucks, this is the fourth Cheesewedge body we have built for A.P. Webb and will be Fassi number ten in their fleet.

Our relationship with A.P. Webb is one built on trust and has developed over the years.

This latest addition is the first cheesewedge body to feature radio remote controlled ramps, meaning the operator can stand at a safe distance form the truck and is able to view more of the working area.

As with all of our cheesewedge bodies, the whole back end is galvanised, resulting in a longer working life, as well as having stainless steel rods in all rams.

A Galvanised headboard, complete with ladder and chain storage are another feature that make this build what it is.
